Amciety (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates amciety.com and related Messenger-based live selling services. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Information we collect
When you register to buy from our live sales, we collect:
- Your name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Delivery address (country, street, city, province, postal code)
- Your Facebook name and Messenger ID, if you register through Messenger
We verify your mobile number and email using a one-time code sent by SMS or email.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Verify your identity and prevent duplicate or fraudulent registrations
- Process and confirm items you claim during a live sale
- Generate payment links and process your payments
- Arrange delivery of your orders
- Contact you about your claims, payment deadlines, and order status
- Enforce our claiming rules, including cancelling unpaid claims and pausing repeat non-payers, as described in our Terms
Your mobile number is used to recognize you if you claim items through more than one of our Facebook Pages.
Payment information
Payments are processed through WooCommerce and our payment gateways (including manual bank/GCash/Maya transfer with proof of payment, and PayPal). We do not store your card details; these are handled directly by our payment gateway providers under their own privacy policies.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Payment processors, to complete your transactions
- Delivery or courier partners, to fulfill your orders
- Meta Platforms, Inc., to the extent necessary to operate our Messenger and Facebook Live integration
- Service providers who host our systems (our own servers), under confidentiality obligations
We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep your information
We retain your registration and order information for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal and tax obligations, or until you request deletion (see our Data Deletion Instructions).
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- Be informed of how your data is processed
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Object to processing
- Request deletion of your data (see our Data Deletion Instructions page)
